The Area HQ is in Ballynahinch, from where they oversee the work in 29 countries, with about 700 staff, 9,800 volunteers (2008) and around 40 different ministry models, from work in schools, drop-in centres, summer teams, Arts & Music festivals, sports evangelism, youth-leader training, radio, TV and internet evangelism, and so on. John is married to Maisie and they have two daughters, Sarah and Emma. He also serves on the Board of The Edge and is a member of its Friday-night street-outreach team.
