Matthew 13. New series looking at parables of The Kingdom. The first parable is the parable of the sower. How prepared is the soil of your heart to receive the seeds of God’s word.
Matthew 13:24-30 There are challenges in this passage to be pure and blameless in a broken world.
Matthew 19 27-20:16. What does God want from us? He wants us to surrender our lives to him.
Matthew 13: 47-52. The Spirit of God moves in mysterious ways and transforms lives to reveal hidden treasures.
Matthew 13:53-58. Its easy to loose sight of the goal and to become familiar with the Gospel message without really listening.
Matthew 18:21-25. In order to present a Gospel of forgiveness, then we should demonstrate the outworkings of forgiveness in our lives.
Luke12. When things go wrong, do you try and blame God or do you trust him the same as when everything is going well.

1 Corintians 1:1-19. First in a new series looking at the early church in Corinth.
1 Corintians 1:10-17. The sensitive subject of church divisions. Fix problems before they have an chance to take hold. Be watchful and don’t let small issues become large ones.
1 Corinthians 1:18-2:16. What is the truth, what do you believe? In this age where everything is diluted, make sure your faith stands firm and you don’t lose sight of the truth.
1 Corinthians 2. Is your relationship with God the Holy Spirit as real as your relationship with God the Father and God the Son.
1 Corinthians 3 & 4. Norman Sinclair shares these passages with us and examines how we should be growing in Christ as our faith develops.
1 Corinthians 4: 1-21.What type of person are you and where does your identity fit into the church.
1 Corinthians 5: 1-13. Discipline is not an option in the Christian faith. It is necessary to help our growth.
1 Corinthians 6:1-11. Paul’s teaching about bringing other Christians to justice in the courts.
1 Corinthians 7: 1-24. Paul talks about specific situations to do with marriage and divorce, not global instructions on these matters. Gordon explores the gift of marriage as presented here.

The most well known prayer of all, but is it a chant or do you use it to focus your prayer life.
Hallowed be your name – 4 simple words but with a far reaching meaning
Thy Kingdom come – can you pray this knowing that your soul is saved and you are ready.
Inviting God to shape us and mould us as he wishes.
Bread symbolises our basic need, although not everyone can be assured this need will be met.
Forgive us our debts….this can be difficult to pray especially if you have been involved in hardship, but God doesn’t make exceptions.
Temptation is the greatest struggle for a Christian no matter of long they have been saved.

Judges 1 1-36. A new series covering the book of Judges. A difficult book to read about 12 heros of the old testament.
Judges 3 7-31. There are times when we must act as an individual and stand up for what we know is right. Are you prepared to swim against the tide for God?
Judges 4:1 – 5:31 God sees and knows everything, even if others don’t.
Judges 6:1 – 8:35. Listen and do what God says, or face the consequences of our disobedience.
Judges 9:1 – 10:5 We are responsible for who we place in leadership, so be careful to keep out the brambles.
Judges 10:6 – 12:15 Persistant, willful disobedience will eventually bring out the anger of and wrath of God.
Judges 17:1 – 21:25 The last in the series from Judges looking at the shocking events in the last few chapters.

1 John 1 1-4 A new series looking at 2 big issues for Christians – Know what it is we believe and knowing how what we believe informs and influences how we live.
1 John 1 5-10. What does true confession look like. Is it a light hearted way to say sorry, or should it be a deep meaningful discussion recognising our wrong and seeking repentance.
1 john 2 3-17 What should we love and what should we hate. What does it mean not to love the world.
1 John 2 18-27 In these last days we are in danger of being deceived by those who are ‘anti-Christ’. People who deny Christ and the Christian faith. People who we need to be aware of.
1 John 2 28 – 3:24. There will come a time when everyone, without exception will stand before Jesus in the day of his second coming. Are you ready?
1 John 4 1-6. How do you know if someone who claims to have a message from God is real?
1 John 4:7-21 God is Love. Gordon takes time to focus on this statement and the enormity of what it means.
1 John 5:1-21 Do you give the Holy Spirit freedom in your life so that you may live your life as God intended

Genesis 12 1-9 New series on Abraham, following his journey with God and the lessons he can teach us from his experiences
Genesis 12 10-20. Abraham falls, and with his fall he wrecks his testimony. God uses an ungodly man to bring him to his senses.
Genesis 13. We all make decisions, big and small. Leaving God out of our decision making can have disastrous consequences
Genesis 14. Gordon challenges us to lift up a ministery of generousity to others through selfless acts.
Genesis 15. Are you focused on your circumstances or can you step outside and stare at the stars
Genesis 16. If God makes a promise and you can’t wait on its fulfillment, there will be consequences if you disobey God by trying to short circuit his timeline.
Genesis 17. How is your walk with God. This chapter defines what our walk should be – before God, faithfully and blameless.
Genesis 18. God appears, making his presence known, showing that he is intimately aware of the issues in Abraham’s and our lives.
Genesis 19. A disturbing chapter that demonstrates the dangers of living in the world and losing sight of heaven.
Genesis 22 What do you hold onto the most in your life? What would happen if you had to let go of this…..

John 20 24-31. Was Thomas a doubter or did he display the same signs as we display in our walk with God.
John 21 1-23. Failure isn’t final but its inevitable and how we deal with it in our lives will shape our walk with God.
John 21 1-18. Easter Sunday – Christ is risen !!!! How was Mary’s encounter with the risen Lord ?
Luke 24 13-35 Are we in step with God or are we trying to re-invent God.
Acts 9 1-12 Last in the series looking at the most famous conversion in the New Testament. Saul on the road to Damascus meets with God and discovers the difference between religion and a relationship with God

Psalm 90 v12 – a new series concentrating on prioitising our lives and following the example of God and Jesus whilst looking at the importance of stewardship and time.
How do you perceive your job? Is it just a job or is it your calling? Do you view you job as an act of worship – what would change if this was your approach?
Transformation of our lives is only possible if we think differently and this will then lead us to behave differently……
1 Samuel 3:1-21 – do you take time to stop and listen to God? Does a time of silence frighten you?
Mark 3:1-6 Is your walk with God driven by legalisms or do you accept that God loves you for what you are and therefore strive to have a relationship with him instead?
Last in the series which encourages us all to stop and play for a while on the sabbath. Take time to enjoy yourself, recharge your batteries and enjoy fellowship with friends and family

Luke 5 33-39. Fasting – is this something you do or even think about? It doesn’t have to be from food – fasting from TV or denying yourself something you enjoy should be a regular act in our devotional life.
Luke 6:12-26 Are you up for the challenge – to proclaim the Good News to all you meet?
Luke 6:27-36 – What does it mean to love without limits? Is this something that still applies in the 21st century?
Luke 9:21-27 – Jesus set the bar very high for his disciples. What effect does this have on our lives?
Luke 8:22-25. Gordon talks to us about praying in the difficult times, the storms of life. Times when prayer comes straight from the heart.
Luke 12 49:53 Jesus came to save the world but at what cost

John 3:16 – the best known verse in the bible, but what is the significance of the word ‘perish’ – what does this really mean?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world … Have you ever thought of the love it took to send his son to save us. What can we do to tell others of that love?

Jeremiah 31 33-34. Gordon introduces a new series from Jeremiah focusing on our heart. In this, the introduction he examines how following God involves a heart transformation.
Proverbs 16 v 5 – David explores what it means to have a humble heart and how it is necessary attribute for any Christian to possess.
John 13 1-17. Gordon examines 5 characteristics of a serving heart from this well know passage where Jesus demonstrates by example what it means to serve.
1 Kings 3:9 – Examining the quality of a discerning heart. How do you decide what is right and what is wrong? Discernment is a skill that requires constant practice and understanding to apply God’s word.
Proverbs 4:23 How do you guard your heart and how do your lips, eyes and feet play their part in guarding your heart or otherwise?
Psalm 86:11 – our worship is the overflow of a worshipping heart. This should be part of our daily devotional life.

Ezra 1. Gordon introduces a new series from the book of Ezra and in this teaching, he looks at the stirring of a heart.

Matthew 5 1-12 – a new series on a speech that changed the world – the Sermon on the Mount. How do we stand out from the crowd to put ourselves out for God. How can people see Christ in your life?
Matthew 5 1-12 – Do you hide your light or are you a beacon for all to see the glory of God and to stand out as someone different who makes a difference?
Mat 5 17 – 20 Challenging us to Rise above regulations to achieve a real relationship with God that is more than litery knowledge.
Mat 5 21 – 26 Anger and lust – two subjects which apply to us all. What does Jesus say about them in the context of us being salt and light.
Mat 5 31 – 37. Jesus talks about making oaths and their implcations. He also covers the well publised and difficult topic of divorce
Mat 5 38 – 48 An eye for an eye – what does it really mean and can you really love your enemies?
Mat 6 1-6, 16-18 George examines the next part of this teaching. Looking at our religious experience. Is is real or is it a show for the benefit of those around us.
Mat 6 7-15 David Ramsey looks at the importance of prayer and examines the ‘Lord’s Prayer’
Mat 6 19-34 Money and worry. Two things that apply to us all. What does Jesus teach us about these subjects and does it still apply today?
Mat 7 1-12 Think before you speak and deal with people as you would like to be dealt. Look at yourself before judging others. Down to earth teaching from Norman Sinclair.
Mat 7 13-20 Mairisine teaches us from the Sermon the Mount. Practical teaching on bearing good fruit with the Lord in control of our lives – all of our life.

1 Kings Ch 5 – wouldn’t it be good if the promises of God drove the purposes of our lives, so that we lived our lives as a testament of the victory he has already won?
1 Kings Ch 6 – a chapter full of facts and figures about Solomon’s Temple – but how is our building project going?
Is our heart and mind growing in the love of Jesus or are we at a stand-still?
1 Kings Ch 7 – it’s all about a sense of perspective and priorities.
The writer spends most of the chapter talking about the design of the temple and one or two lines on the design of Solomon’s palace and his wife’s palace.
Focus on God and you and your priorities will change.
1 Kings Ch 8 – The temple is finished and the celebrations have begun.
Solomon is very clear that no matter how grand this temple is, God is bigger than this.
1 Kings Ch 9 – A job well done, but demonstrating the priority of faithfulness and warning of the dangers of taking your eye of the ball
1 Kings Ch 10 – The Queen of Sheba arrives to survey the wondrous works.
A chapter dedicated to enjoying the goodness of God.

Luke 9 1-17. Do you consider God to be sufficient to meet your every need or do you limit his power and authority to something that fits your understanding and confidence in his name?
Luke 9 : 18-36. There are questions and there are questions, but one of the most important questions is this : Who is Jesus and what does he mean to you?
Luke 9 : 37-62. Meet with the disciples to discover their weaknesses and how we can learn from these.

Encouragement is more than positive words, it’s not only a biblical command, it has life and death potential.

Church is about creating community and about spirit filled relationships. One of the best ways to ensure this happens is to join a small group to make a commitment to others, grow as a core and to make sacrifices for one another.
