Luke 6:12-26 Are you up for the challenge – to proclaim the Good News to all you meet?

Luke 6:27-36 – What does it mean to love without limits? Is this something that still applies in the 21st century?

Luke 9:21-27 – Jesus set the bar very high for his disciples. What effect does this have on our lives?

Proverbs 4:23 How do you guard your heart and how do your lips, eyes and feet play their part in guarding your heart or otherwise?

Psalm 86:11 – our worship is the overflow of a worshipping heart. This should be part of our daily devotional life.

Ezra 1. Gordon introduces a new series from the book of Ezra and in this teaching, he looks at the stirring of a heart.

Ezra 2. What does it mean to be a pioneer? Teaching from Ezra 2 challenging us to make a stand and make a journey with God.

Ezra 3 – Gordon uses this passage to explore 8 characteristics of worship in a community.

Ezra 4. The Christian message can be a bitter pill to swallow in today’s society. But should that stop us sharing the Gospel?

Nehemiah 8. God wants to work in us. There is always hope in God and his word – application of the word is vital.

Ezra 9 The shadow of sin – how do we react to sin, do we confront it or do we hide away.

Ezra 10 – A message particularly for those in leadership to pray for those they lead.

Matthew 5 1-12 – a new series on a speech that changed the world – the Sermon on the Mount. How do we stand out from the crowd to put ourselves out for God. How can people see Christ in your life?

Matthew 5 1-12 – Do you hide your light or are you a beacon for all to see the glory of God and to stand out as someone different who makes a difference?

Mat 5 17 – 20 Challenging us to Rise above regulations to achieve a real relationship with God that is more than litery knowledge.

Mat 5 21 – 26 Anger and lust – two subjects which apply to us all. What does Jesus say about them in the context of us being salt and light.

Mat 5 31 – 37. Jesus talks about making oaths and their implcations. He also covers the well publised and difficult topic of divorce

Mat 5 38 – 48 An eye for an eye – what does it really mean and can you really love your enemies?

Mat 6 1-6, 16-18 George examines the next part of this teaching. Looking at our religious experience. Is is real or is it a show for the benefit of those around us.

Mat 6 7-15 David Ramsey looks at the importance of prayer and examines the ‘Lord’s Prayer’

Mat 6 19-34 Money and worry. Two things that apply to us all. What does Jesus teach us about these subjects and does it still apply today?

Colossians 1 : 1-14 – growing in knowledge, living a life worthy to endure and have patience so that we might go forward with a sense of purpose in life

1 Kings Ch 6 – a chapter full of facts and figures about Solomon’s Temple – but how is our building project going?
Is our heart and mind growing in the love of Jesus or are we at a stand-still?

1 Kings Ch 7 – it’s all about a sense of perspective and priorities.
The writer spends most of the chapter talking about the design of the temple and one or two lines on the design of Solomon’s palace and his wife’s palace.
Focus on God and you and your priorities will change.

1 Kings Ch 8 – The temple is finished and the celebrations have begun.
Solomon is very clear that no matter how grand this temple is, God is bigger than this.

1 Kings Ch 9 – A job well done, but demonstrating the priority of faithfulness and warning of the dangers of taking your eye of the ball

1 Kings Ch 10 – The Queen of Sheba arrives to survey the wondrous works.
A chapter dedicated to enjoying the goodness of God.

Luke 9 1-17. Do you consider God to be sufficient to meet your every need or do you limit his power and authority to something that fits your understanding and confidence in his name?

Luke 9 : 18-36. There are questions and there are questions, but one of the most important questions is this : Who is Jesus and what does he mean to you?
